Fareham Shopping Centre is committed to reducing the Centre's impact on the environment.

The Centre and its stores work in partnership when it comes to recycling because we all know how important it is to protect our environment. We recycle tonnes of waste every week, with a majority being pulped and mashed on-site by specialist compressors. By compressing the waste it takes up less room in the skips. This means they don’t need to be emptied as often, reducing lorry emissions.
 
As part of our 'Green Vision', we also strive to help and encourage our customers to adopt more eco-friendly lifestyles. We use the Green Zone to help us to promote and deliver these important messages. Visit our 'Green Tips and Facts' page by following the link on the right. It contains some useful ways that you can do things a little differently - small steps that, if we all make them, will have a huge effect on the environment.
